ClocksLife happens in segments called days,
divided into portions by sleep.
Those who rebel against the clock lose their way,
and at the end of the day they weep.
Don’t rebel against the clock.
Forsake its meaning never;
or else many opportunities will be locked
away forever and ever.
Come to terms with it and accept your days.
There’s a time for service and a time for play.
A time for goodness and a time for sin;
a time to finish and a time to begin.
If you’re impatient and want to sin,
for pleasure or as a relief from pain,
please wait until the time is right,
or you might be faced with sudden fright.
So when life feels hard and you’re unsure,
and your spirit is down and you feel impure,
put your hope in patience and pray
that you will live to see another day.
